by: Mica Ella Marie A. Badana and Febie Ann Flores
On May 3, 2025, the learners of Butubut Elementary School at Butubut Sur, Balaoan, La Union, experienced a day full of love, joy, and generosity as the Master of Education graduating students for the academic year 2024-2025 of Osias Educational Foundation conducted an outreach program under the supervision of Dr. Rowena De Guzman, Dean and Vice President of the educational institution.
Mrs. Paz Orate, the principal of Butubut Elementary School, warmly welcomed all the parents and learners along with the dedicated teachers who expressed their appreciation for the meaningful initiative. Dr. Alejo De Sesto, the District Supervisor of Balaoan also graced us with his presence and underscored the importance of collaboration between educational institutions in fostering holistic community development. The outreach program was highlighted with the series of heartwarming and engaging activities including praise and worship session that set a positive and spiritual tone for the day, a variety of fun games that brought joy and laughter to the students, a feeding program where nutritious meals were served to ensure no child went home hungry and a gift-giving activity in which thoughtful presents were distributed, bringing smiles and gratitude to the children.
These efforts were designed not only to bring joy to the learners of Butubut Elementary School but also to foster optimism, solidarity, hope and unity within the local community. Dr. De Guzman emphasized the value of service and education that goes beyond the classroom. Our goal is to shape learners who are not only knowledgeable but also god-fearing, compassionate and socially responsible. The event concluded with smiles, laughter, and heartfelt gratitude from the learners and their families, as the outreach served as a reminder of the powerful impact of kindness, love of God and collective effort.

After two years, Osias Educational Foundation got back on the track  on the DSPC (Division Schools Press Conference) as The Osians’ Podium (TOP) joins the held press conference September 28, 2018 at Paringao ElementarySchool. Tree planting is the process of transplanting tree seedlings, generally for forestry, land reclamation or landscaping purposes.

The Barangay officials have already started identifying safety sites where the seedlings will be placed.

As a start and as a part of our action plan for school year 2018-2019, we the SSG and the C.A.T Officers agreed with each other that we are going to plant 100 trees as an environmental action.

It is good that youth nowadays is really concern for the environment. They are all excited in planting those trees. The said activity was conducted at Brgy. Bungol, Balaoan, La Union. When we arrived at the site the Brgy. Officials were already waiting for us to led us to the site.

We are overwhelmed that there is such an activity in order for us to help our environment.

The SSG officers together with the adviser Mrs. Febie Ann G. Flores collected goods for the students of Nagsabaran Elementary School. The warmth welcome of the said school is overwhelming. You can see students who don’t really have much in life but they are really willing to learn and continue their studies.

Going to the school is far and risky but despite of that it we can’t explain the happiness that we brought to this school.

Headed by SSG and TOP High School, supplies were collected for the Typhoon Ulysses victims in collaboration with the Balaoan LGU..

TOP and CSSC brought food and hygiene kits for the inmates of Balaoan Municipal Jail.

THE BEST WAY TO MULTIPLY YOUR HAPPINESS IS TO SHARE IT WITH OTHERS!

Shoutout to Jail Inspector Julius Palada!

Thanks to all officers and donors who took part in this endeavor.

Several boxes of bond paper were received from Mayor Aleli Concepcion.

Thank you Mayora for sharing your blessings with our school.
